Not meaning to do so, friends tend to make the sick friend ‘into’ a problem. It’s okay to be open, honest, and just plain there. And this friendship thing has to come from both sides. That means that even the ‘sick’ friend needs to remember to ask the other ‘how are they doing.’
Although it can be hard sometimes, being sick is not always a one way street when you have people that care about you. Try to not take advantage of your condition. At times it may feel like it, but really, you are not the only one being affected.
